Dr. Daniel H. Chen was originally born in Vancouver, British Columbia and obtained his dental degree from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine. Dr. Chen then completed a two-year residency in orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania where he was class president.
Dr. Chen has practiced orthodontics since 2003 and has taught orthodontics at the University Of Pennsylvania Department Of Orthodontics for multiple years. Dr. Chen is trained in providing exceptional care with clear, metal, and invisible braces with Invisalign.
Dr. Chen is a board certified by the American Board of Orthodontists, and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Pennsylvania Dental Association.
Dr. Chen has received multiple honors, graduating as the Clinician of the Year for his graduating class at the University of Pennsylvania. He has received the Louis Wolf Award for graduating in the top 3 of his class, Hersch Pharmacology Award, and Hinman Research Scholar Award, and has been inducted into the Mathew Cryer and Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Societies. He has received multiple research awards and published multiple articles on bone and cancer research. In his spare time, Dr. Chen enjoys traveling and is an avid tennis fan.
